Superior Power Conditioning for Audio The unique design of the PLiXiR Elite BAC 1000 MK II focuses on reducing disruptive factors in the power supply that can affect the performance of audio equipment. The transformer, specially designed for PLiXiR by Noratel, minimizes ground loop currents and effectively suppresses electrical noise. This means that connected devices, such as turntables and phono preamplifiers, are protected from interference that could degrade sound quality.

New Generation Elite BAC MK II Building on the success of the award-winning Elite BAC series, which has been in production since 2016, the Elite BAC MK II improves upon every performance aspect. From enhanced dynamics and PRaT (Pace, Rhythm, and Timing) to revealing even more subtle nuances and details in the music. Users of the original Elite BAC will immediately notice an even lower noise floor and a stronger, fuller soundstage. All of this while maintaining the characteristic neutral and natural tone that PLiXiR is known for.

Unique Noratel XQ-Core Technology The fully symmetrical, balanced transformers in the Elite BAC MK II are the result of close collaboration with Noratel. The XQ core, developed for PLiXiR, ensures maximum isolation from DC components in the mains supply. The transformer provides ultra-low hum and vibration levels, contributing to a noise-free power supply and cleaner sound reproduction. The new integrated external magnetic shield reduces flux leakage and improves damping, resulting in a deeper and more dynamic audio experience.

Designed for HiFi Purists PLiXiR has refined every detail of the BAC MK II to ensure the highest level of sound quality. The casing is made from thick, extruded, and CNC-machined aluminum, with an extra sturdy construction that enhances sound by limiting unwanted resonances. The heavy 8mm thick aluminum baseplate anchors the unit, minimizing vibrations. In collaboration with Bfly Audio from Germany, special “Pure” isolation footers have been developed to isolate external vibrations, resulting in an even more natural sound reproduction.

Craftsmanship and Hand Finishing Each PLiXiR Elite BAC MK II is handcrafted by skilled artisans using the highest quality materials and construction techniques. Where possible, all electrical connections are directly soldered without the use of connectors that could negatively impact sound quality. Additionally, each unit undergoes rigorous quality control and is personally tested by James Soh, the founder and chief designer of PLiXiR, to ensure reliability and optimal audio performance.
