The Tongariro TR is innovatively designed and uses a triple sandwich construction with high-quality solid stainless steel, precisely milled walnut wood, and specially designed elastomers, combined with fine height adjustment for unprecedented, finely tuned damping performance.

Starting with the solid stainless steel inner cone designed for spikes, a natural walnut wood housing surrounds the inner cone while remaining isolated from the precisely machined solid stainless steel outer housing via double elastomer rings. A specially formulated elastomer ring crowns the walnut wood with double rings under the outer housing providing soft contact, grip, and isolation. Under the outer housing, a stainless steel screw post in the center provides fine height adjustment of the isolated walnut wood housing.
