Montaudio Wanaka GR

Wanaka is available in two models: the G1 and the reference-class GR. The G1 is ideal for entry- and mid-level HiFi systems, while the GR, with its dedicated left and right inputs, is designed for reference-class equipment.

The Wanaka G1 features an audiophile-grade rhodium-plated connector for the incoming signal ground. The signal then passes through a handmade ‘Nano Noise Reduction Module’ developed by Montaudio. This specially crafted nano-material module is tuned to suppress noise across various frequencies. Afterward, the signal is processed through three carefully calibrated stages to dissipate various noise signals. Each step in this process is interconnected with hybrid silver cables that undergo a cryogenic treatment in Montaudio’s facilities.

The Wanaka GR sets a higher standard with its internally balanced structure. Following the same principles as the G1, the GR has a rhodium-plated connector per signal side, but its noise reduction process is more advanced, with a dual setup for left and right channels. Compared to the G1, the GR offers 200% more noise attraction and 400% more noise dissipation capacity, enabling the cleanest possible reference ground. Additionally, at the end of the process, the left and right signal grounds are equalized and aligned to ensure perfect balance.

Multiple Wanaka ground reference units can be stacked and connected with a simple press of a button, using Montaudio’s W-link connections located at the top and bottom of each unit. Linking the Wanaka units in this way ensures that the signal references of connected equipment are aligned, providing a unified ground signal across the entire audio system.
