PLiXiR The Statement DC Power Cable – attention to the connection between power supply and music
A high-quality external power supply deserves a suitable connection to your audio component. The original PLiXiR The Statement DC Power Cable combines high-purity silver-plated copper conductors, double shielding, and Teflon insulation in a carefully designed DC power cable.
This Statement is the original version, not the MK II. It was developed as an upgrade to the Elementa DC cable that PLiXiR supplies with its Elite and Elementa DC power supplies. With a choice of three cable lengths and two DC plug sizes, you can tailor the cable to your setup.

A targeted upgrade of your DC connection
When your power supply is located next to your DAC, streamer, or other externally powered component, the DC cable forms the final connection in the power supply chain. The Statement is designed to perform precisely that connection with attention to conductivity, insulation, and shielding.
- High-purity silver-plated copper conductors with a generous cross-section.
- Double shielding with Mylar foil and a thick silver-plated copper braid.
- Mil-spec Teflon insulation for conductors and cable braid.
- PLiXiR-specified cable load of 10 A DC.
- Standard four-pin connector for compatible PLiXiR power supplies.
- PLiXiR DC plug with carbon fiber housing, available in 2.1 or 2.5 mm.
Silver-plated copper conductors and Teflon insulation
PLiXiR uses high-purity silver-plated copper conductors for this original Statement. The manufacturer describes the construction as a thick, composite conductor structure. The conductors and cable braid are insulated with mil-spec Teflon.
According to PLiXiR, the design focuses on low losses and fast current delivery. The UPOCC conductors and newly developed copper connectors of the MK II are not listed as specifications for this original model.
Double shielding against external interference
The cable combines Mylar foil with a thick silver-plated copper braid. PLiXiR describes the foil as shielding against high-frequency external noise and the copper braid as shielding against low-frequency external noise.
This construction is intended to carefully shield the connection between the external power supply and the device. According to the manufacturer, the Statement thus aims for a low noise floor, more transparency, and a better representation of timing, detail, and sonic body. These are manufacturer claims regarding sound, not a guarantee of an identical improvement in every installation.
Choose the right connector and cable length
Power supply side
Four-pin PLiXiR connector
The standard version has a four-pin connector for compatible PLiXiR power supplies. Check the connection and pin layout of your specific model. An outwardly similar connector is not automatically electrically interchangeable.
Device side
2.1 or 2.5 mm DC plug
Choose the plug size that belongs to your device. In addition to the stated size, also check the other connector dimensions, the polarity, and the power specifications of your component.
The official ordering options for this model are 2.1 mm and 2.5 mm, each in 1, 1.5, and 2 meters. That gives six standard combinations. Other connectors or applications with power supplies from other brands are custom-made on request and are not offered as standard compatibility.
The cable does not convert voltage. The output voltage and polarity of your power supply must match your device. The stated cable load of 10 A does not mean that your power supply can deliver 10 A or that every connector and application is suitable for that current.
A logical place in your power supply chain
PLiXiR DC power supply→The Statement DC Power Cable→Suitable audio device
Choose a length that leaves enough room for movement without pulling on the connectors. For a power supply that powers two separate devices, each device needs its own suitable DC cable.

Frequently asked questions
Is this the Statement DC Power Cable MK II?
No. This is the original Statement DC Power Cable. The MK II is a separate model with a modified conductor construction, enhanced shielding, and new connectors.
What versions are available?
The manufacturer offers a 2.1 or 2.5 mm DC plug, both in 1, 1.5, and 2 meters. On the power supply side, the standard version has a four-pin connector for compatible PLiXiR power supplies.
Can I connect this cable to another power supply without checking?
No. Check connectors, pin layout, polarity, voltage, and current requirements.
Does the cable change the power supply voltage?
No. The cable is not a voltage converter. Use only a power supply whose output voltage and polarity match what your device needs.
Does my power supply deliver more current with this cable?
No. The 10 A specification is a stated cable load. The maximum current of your power supply does not change because of this.
A suitable Statement for your setup
The original PLiXiR The Statement DC Power Cable combines silver-plated copper conductors, double shielding, and Teflon insulation in one DC connection.
Unsure about the connection? Provide AUDIOKAFE with the brand and model of your power supply and audio component. This way, the correct plug size, pin layout, and cable length can be tailored before ordering.
